Transformer core assembly
Transformer Core Stacking & Tilting Tables
Stack the core laminations manually in the horizontal position, then tilt the assembled core upright. Choose hydraulic tilting to suit the core weight and geometry, or a 150 t table with tilting by overhead crane.

For large transformer cores
These tables support manual lamination stacking and tilting of the assembled core. They do not automatically pick and place laminations. For automated lamination handling and stacking, see our separate product: Automatic core stacking line.

Hydraulic Core Stacking & Tilting Tables
Adjust the supports to the core drawing, stack the laminations horizontally, then tilt the core upright through 90°. Available capacity options include 5, 10, 20, 35, 50 and 100 t. Working ranges depend on the selected configuration.
| Parameter | 5 t | 10 t |
|---|---|---|
| Lamination width | 40–320 mm | 40–580 mm |
| Core stack thickness | 100–380 mm | 170–480 mm |
| Yoke length | 500–1850 mm | 1000–3000 mm |
| Tilting range | 0–90° (±1°) | |
| … | … Additional capacities available | |
The table shows selected examples, not the full range. These lamination widths and stack thicknesses apply only to the 5 t and 10 t configurations shown. Working dimensions for other capacities are agreed for each project.
35 t hydraulic configuration
Rated load: 35 t with a uniformly distributed load. Approximate tabletop dimensions: 4000 × 3800 mm. Two synchronized hydraulic cylinders provide 0–90° tilting. Tabletop dimensions are not lamination width or core stack thickness.

Built around your core drawing
Core weight alone does not define the table. Lamination width, stack thickness, yoke length, window sizes and the support arrangement must be matched together.

150 t Core Stacking & Tilting Table
Tilting by Overhead Crane
The core is stacked manually in the horizontal position. An overhead crane provides the lifting force and tilts the assembled core upright, while the table supports the core throughout the operation.

Watch tilting by overhead crane
The overhead crane lifts and tilts the core and support frame upright.
Check core weight and center of gravity, lifting points, crane capacity, hook height and workshop clearance.
Start with your core drawing
Send the core weight, overall dimensions and window sizes. For tilting by overhead crane, include the crane specifications and workshop layout. We will propose a suitable configuration and supply scope.
